Le Dr Adolphe Marcoux\, élu député de l’Union nationale dans la circonscription de Québec en 1936\, a ouvert la voie à son fils\, le Dr Guy Marcoux\, qui a représenté Québec-Montmorency comme député créditiste de 1962 à 1965.
